The event

Group transport for bike week shuttles

Bike Week is one of the largest motorcycle rallies in the world and it takes over Volusia County for roughly ten days every March. Several hundred thousand visitors, an event footprint spread across Main Street, the Speedway, and venues throughout the county, and a road network operating well beyond what it was designed to carry.

The transportation problem here is unusual because most attendees arrive on two wheels. What that means in practice is that the group transportation demand comes from a different direction: hotels running guest shuttles, vendors and exhibitors moving staff, corporate groups attending, and the many attendees who fly in and want to get around without renting anything.

Continuous loop service is what most of this looks like. A vehicle running a fixed circuit between a property and the main venues for a set window of hours, so guests come and go on their own schedule rather than committing to a fixed return. Evening runs are the ones that matter most, for reasons that hardly need spelling out at a rally with this many bars on the route.

Planning notes

  • Loops beat fixed runs. A continuous circuit suits a rally far better than scheduled departures nobody sticks to.
  • Evenings are the point. Late-night return service is the single most valuable thing a property can offer that week.
  • Book with the hotel block. Arrange the shuttle when you arrange the rooms. Coaches commit months ahead for March.
  • Traffic is the constraint. Main Street and the surrounding grid operate under event conditions. We plan around them.

Ready to price bike week shuttles?

Reach us however you like. A person who actually knows the routes answers, not a call center reading from a script.

March in Volusia County carries the rally, the race calendar, and spring training at once. It is the hardest month of the year to find a coach here.

  1. You send the basics. Date, pickup, destination, headcount. That is enough to price it.
  2. We send one all-in number. Bus, driver, and fuel together, with tolls and parking itemized.
  3. You approve, we hold the coach. Paperwork and certificates follow for schools and vendors.
Event questions

About bike week shuttles

When is Daytona Bike Week?

It typically runs for about ten days in early March, with dates set each year by the event organizers. Check the official schedule and tell us your dates once they are confirmed.

Can our hotel run a continuous shuttle loop?

Yes, and it is the most common Bike Week booking we take. A vehicle running a fixed circuit for the hours you set, so guests move on their own schedule. Tell us the guest count and the window and we will size the vehicle and the frequency.

Do you run late-night service?

Yes, and during a rally week it is the service that actually matters. Getting guests back to the property safely at the end of an evening is the entire argument for a shuttle.

How early do we need to book?

Book the shuttle when you book the rooms. Volusia County coach capacity is committed months in advance for March, which is the same month as the race weekend and spring training.

Are you an official rally transportation provider?

No. We are an independent charter operator. We have no affiliation with the rally, its organizers, or any official event program, and we simply provide transportation around the county.

Causeway Coach is an independent transportation provider. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or an official provider for this event or its organizers, venues, or rights holders. Event names are used only to describe the destinations we serve.

Going this year?

Send the dates and your group size. Event weekends commit our coaches earlier than anything else on the calendar, so early is genuinely better here.
