The event

Group transport for spring training shuttles

Spring training is the busiest six weeks of the year for group transportation in Florida, and the reason is simple arithmetic. The Grapefruit League ballparks are small, intimate venues that fill to capacity daily during the season, and almost none of them have parking designed for that. A stadium holding ten thousand people on a Tuesday afternoon in a residential neighbourhood is a traffic problem, not a baseball problem.

The groups we carry break into a few consistent types. Fan groups travelling down from the north for a week of games. 55+ communities running a game day as a scheduled outing, often several times across the season. Corporate hospitality getting clients to the gate together. And youth and school groups treating a game as the reward at the end of a trip.

What all of them want is the same thing: to be dropped at the gate rather than crossing a hot parking lot on foot, and to leave without sitting in an exit queue afterward. We run both coasts, from the Gulf Coast parks around Fort Myers, Sarasota, Bradenton, and Port Charlotte through to the Palm Beach County and Treasure Coast ballparks on the east side.

Planning notes

  • Book in the autumn. February and March are the tightest weeks in the Florida calendar. Waiting until January is leaving it late.
  • First pitch, not tip-off. We plan backward from gates opening rather than the game start, so your group is not queuing outside.
  • Both coasts. Gulf Coast and east coast ballparks are a long way apart. Multi-park itineraries need the drive times built in.
  • Drop close. Ballpark access varies. We use the coach areas each venue designates rather than the general lot.

Ready to price spring training shuttles?

Reach us however you like. A person who actually knows the routes answers, not a call center reading from a script.

February and March are the tightest six weeks in Florida group transportation. Spring training, peak season, and cruise turnarounds all compete for the same coaches.

  1. You send the basics. Date, pickup, destination, headcount. That is enough to price it.
  2. We send one all-in number. Bus, driver, and fuel together, with tolls and parking itemized.
  3. You approve, we hold the coach. Paperwork and certificates follow for schools and vendors.
Event questions

About spring training shuttles

When is spring training in Florida?

The Grapefruit League season typically runs from mid-February through late March, though exact dates are set each year by the clubs and the league. Check the official schedule for your team, and tell us the date once you have it.

Which ballparks do you serve?

Both coasts. The Gulf Coast parks around Fort Myers, Sarasota, Bradenton, and Port Charlotte, and the east coast venues in Palm Beach County and on the Treasure Coast. Multi-park itineraries are common and we plan the drive times into them.

Can you drop us right at the gate?

As close as each venue allows. Ballparks designate coach drop areas, and knowing which one to use is most of the value, particularly for older groups where the walk from the far lot is the actual problem.

How far in advance should we book?

The autumn before, if you can. February and March are the single tightest window in Florida group transportation, because spring training overlaps with peak season, cruise season, and wedding season all at once.

Do you run multi-game trips across several days?

Regularly, and they are one of our better spring bookings. We build the itinerary around the published schedule and the real driving distances between parks, which are longer than most visiting groups expect.

Causeway Coach is an independent transportation provider. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or an official provider for this event or its organizers, venues, or rights holders. Event names are used only to describe the destinations we serve.

Going this year?

Send the dates and your group size. Event weekends commit our coaches earlier than anything else on the calendar, so early is genuinely better here.
