Group transport for graduation and campus event shuttles
Commencement weekends are one of the most predictable transport crunches in the state and one of the least planned for. Florida has several very large universities, each graduating tens of thousands across a weekend, and every graduate brings a family group that has flown in and booked rooms together. Campus parking was built for term-time, not for that.
The families are the market. A graduate with grandparents, siblings, and out-of-town relatives is a group of eight to fifteen with mobility considerations, formal clothes, and a hard start time. Splitting that across three rental cars and hoping they all find the same lot is exactly how someone misses the processional.
Universities themselves also book, running remote parking loops and moving faculty, donors, and honoured guests between venues across the weekend. Both sides of that work land in the same few days twice a year, in May and December, which makes commencement dates some of the earliest bookings on our calendar.

Planning notes
- Book the moment dates publish. Commencement dates are known months ahead and the vehicles commit almost immediately. This is the earliest-booking event we run.
- Mobility matters here. Family groups span every age. Tell us and we will assign a vehicle that parks close and has an easier step.
- Hard start times. Ceremonies do not wait. We plan backward from doors opening, not from the stated start.
- Multiple ceremonies. Large universities run several across a weekend. The campus is at its worst between them, not during.
Service options
Family groups
One vehicle for the whole family from the hotel to the ceremony and back, with room for grandparents who should not be walking from a distant lot.
Remote parking loops
Continuous campus circuits between satellite lots and the venue, run for the university across the ceremony schedule.
Donor and faculty transport
Smaller vehicles moving honoured guests, faculty, and donors between receptions, venues, and hotels.
Airport arrivals
Relatives flying in across a wide window, consolidated into one pickup rather than a scatter of car services.

About graduation and campus event shuttles
How far ahead should we book a graduation shuttle?
As soon as the date publishes. Commencement is the earliest-booking event on our calendar because every family in the region wants the same vehicle on the same morning.
Can you get close to the venue?
As close as campus event operations allow, which is usually much closer than family parking. For groups with older relatives that difference is the main reason to book.
Can you handle a family group of ten?
Comfortably, and a minibus is usually the right vehicle. It costs less than a full coach and gets into campus areas a larger vehicle cannot.
Do you work with universities directly?
Yes, including remote parking loops and guest transport across a ceremony weekend. Purchase order invoicing and vendor onboarding are routine for us.
Are you affiliated with any university?
No. We are an independent charter operator providing transportation to campuses. We have no affiliation with any university or its events.
Causeway Coach is an independent transportation provider. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or an official provider for this event or its organizers, venues, or rights holders. Event names are used only to describe the destinations we serve.
Going this year?
Send the dates and your group size. Event weekends commit our coaches earlier than anything else on the calendar, so early is genuinely better here.
