Miami group travel

Why groups in Miami-Dade County call us

Miami is the hardest city in Florida to move a group through, and that is exactly why the details matter. PortMiami is one of the busiest cruise ports on the planet, the Miami Beach Convention Center can put thousands of attendees on the street at once, and the causeways connecting it all become parking lots at predictable hours. A charter bus in Miami is only as good as the driver who knows when to leave.

We are on the Miami-Dade County Public Schools approved carrier list, which is a meaningful distinction here. Field trip coordinators cannot book whoever answers the phone, they book from the district list, and the paperwork has to be right. That same vetting is why corporate planners and DMCs use us for convention shuttles: the insurance, the DOT registration, and the inspection history are already documented.

Most of the charter bus companies Miami searchers find are national lead-generation networks with a local-sounding name. They do not own a bus. When we quote your group transportation in Miami, the coach that shows up is ours and the driver is on our payroll, which is the difference between a plan and a hope on a morning when your group has a ship to catch.

Convention and cruise groups usually need several hotel stops in sequence. Send the hotel list and the all-aboard or session time, and we will sequence the loop so the last pickup is not the one that runs late.

Ready to price your Miami trip?

Reach us however you like. A person who actually knows the routes answers, not a call center reading from a script.

Convention season and cruise season both peak January through April, and Art Week takes early December. Those are the weeks Miami runs out of coaches first.

  1. You send the basics. Date, pickup, destination, headcount. That is enough to price it.
  2. We send one all-in number. Bus, driver, and fuel together, with tolls and parking itemized.
  3. You approve, we hold the coach. Paperwork and certificates follow for schools and vendors.
Local questions

Miami questions

How early should a group leave for a PortMiami sailing?

We plan backward from your all-aboard time, and in Miami that buffer is bigger than people expect. Saturday morning terminal traffic can add 45 minutes on its own, so for an afternoon sailing we are usually rolling by late morning.

Are you approved for Miami-Dade school trips?

Ace Tours and Transportation, Inc., the company behind Causeway Coach, is an approved private bus service provider on the Miami-Dade County Public Schools approved carrier list. That listing reflects compliance with district requirements and is not an endorsement by the School Board.

Can you handle convention shuttles across several hotels?

Yes, and it is one of the things we do most in Miami. Multiple hotel pickups on a timed loop, continuous service during a conference, or a single move to an offsite venue. Tell us the session schedule and we build the loop around it.

What does a charter bus in Miami cost?

Miami runs higher than the Gulf Coast because the market is busier and the traffic eats hours, so a downtown job that looks identical to a Naples job on paper is not priced the same. Peak convention and cruise season, roughly January through April, is the tightest window and the one worth booking early. We quote a flat all-in figure rather than an hourly rate that grows on the day.

Do you have Spanish-speaking drivers?

Yes, and you can ask for one when you book. Across Miami-Dade it comes up constantly, for family events, church groups, and visiting delegations. Driver assignments are not made far in advance, so we treat it as a scheduling request rather than a guarantee attached to a name.

Do you serve Miami Beach and Key Biscayne?

Yes, along with Brickell, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Doral, Aventura, and Homestead. Causeway routing during rush hour is part of our planning, not an afterthought.

Moving a group in Miami-Dade County?

Tell us the date and the headcount. We will send back one all-in number.
