Most of what is written about getting to PortMiami is written for two people. Shared vans quote a price per head, hotels advertise a free shuttle for their own guests, and every comparison ends up being about whether a rideshare is cheaper. All of that is genuinely useful if you are travelling as a couple. None of it survives contact with a group of thirty.
A group is a different problem because a group does not arrive together. Thirty people do not clear baggage claim at the same moment, and a vehicle that leaves when the first four are ready has not solved anything. What a charter does that a per-person service cannot is wait: one vehicle, one driver, holding until the whole party is aboard, with the luggage in the bays rather than on laps.
The second thing a group needs is the correct terminal. PortMiami spreads across a long island and terminal assignment comes from the cruise line, not from you. We ask for the ship name rather than just the sailing date, because staging at the wrong terminal turns a five-minute drop-off into a fifteen-minute walk with suitcases in Florida heat.

Is it cheaper to take a charter bus or Uber to the Miami cruise port?
For two people, a rideshare is almost certainly cheaper and you should take one. Is there a free shuttle to the Port of Miami?
Some airport-area hotels run a complimentary shuttle for their own guests, and several cruise lines offer transfers to their own passengers. Both are worth checking first. Neither is designed for a group travelling together that needs one vehicle, luggage capacity, and a departure time it controls.
How long does the transfer from Miami airport to the cruise port take?

What if our group is arriving on different flights?
