Getting there

Group transport to Daytona International Speedway

The February race gets the attention, but the Speedway runs a calendar. The sportscar endurance weekend in January, the summer night race in August, motorcycle racing during rally weeks, and a steady flow of other events fill dates across the year. Each one produces the same transport problem at a different scale.

That problem is the departure. Arrival is manageable at any of these events. Leaving, when a very large crowd wants the same exits simultaneously and the surrounding roads are under event traffic control, is where an hour disappears. A coach with a pre-agreed staging point and a driver who knows the routes out is worth more at five in the afternoon than anything else in the booking.

Groups vary by event. The February weekend is corporate hospitality and travelling fan groups. The January endurance race draws a smaller, more specialist crowd, often multi-day. The summer race is more local and more social. What they share is that Volusia County coach capacity commits early for all of them.

Busy season: Race calendar runs January through August

Typical drive: About an hour from Orlando, 90 minutes from Jacksonville

Worth knowing

  • It is a calendar, not one race. January endurance, February, summer night race, and rally-week events. Each books separately and early.
  • Plan the exit first. The departure is the whole job. A staged pickup and a known route out is what you are paying for.
  • Event traffic control. Roads around the Speedway operate under event rules. We plan to those patterns rather than a map.
  • Where you stay matters. The hotel base decides how workable a shuttle is. Worth asking us before booking the block.

Ready to price your trip to Daytona Speedway?

Reach us however you like. A person who actually knows the routes answers, not a call center reading from a script.

February takes every coach in the region. The rest of the calendar books earlier than an ordinary Volusia weekend.

  1. You send the basics. Date, pickup, destination, headcount. That is enough to price it.
  2. We send one all-in number. Bus, driver, and fuel together, with tolls and parking itemized.
  3. You approve, we hold the coach. Paperwork and certificates follow for schools and vendors.
Common questions

Getting a group to Daytona Speedway

Which Daytona events do you cover?

The full calendar rather than just the February weekend. The January endurance race, the summer night race, motorcycle racing during rally weeks, and other events across the year. Tell us the date and we will price it.

What happens after the race finishes?

That is the part worth paying for. We agree a staging point in advance and use routes that avoid the worst of the exit. Leaving from the general lots in your own car can take a couple of hours.

Can you collect our group from Orlando airport?

Yes, about an hour east with race-week traffic factored in. Plenty of groups fly into MCO rather than Daytona because of the flight options.

How far ahead should we book?

Months for the February weekend, which takes regional capacity entirely. The other events on the calendar are easier but still commit earlier than a normal weekend in Volusia County.

Are you an official Speedway transportation provider?

No. We are an independent charter operator that provides transportation to the venue. We have no affiliation with the Speedway, any sanctioning body, or their sponsors.

We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or an official transportation provider for any venue, park, speedway, or attraction named on this page.
