Islands of Adventure group transportation
Shares an entrance corridor with its sister park, which means groups splitting across both need one plan rather than two.

Group transport to Islands of Adventure
Islands of Adventure sits alongside its sister park in the same resort complex, sharing the parking structure and the entrance corridor. For a group that matters more than it sounds: parties frequently split across both parks during a day, and the pickup arrangement has to account for people coming out of different gates at different times.
The practical answer is a single agreed pickup point and a return time everyone knows before they go in. Groups that skip that step spend the last forty minutes of an expensive day rounding people up by phone, which is a poor end to a trip somebody organised for months.
School and youth groups are the biggest segment we carry here, and they bring their own requirements: certificates of insurance, per-student costings, and a return timed to the bell rather than to park closing. All of that is routine work and it goes out with the quote rather than after it.
At a glance
Where: Orlando, Florida
Busy season: Year-round, peaking spring break and summer
Typical drive: About 25 minutes from MCO, 90 minutes from Tampa
Worth knowing
- One pickup point for both parks. Groups split across the resort. Fix a single meeting point and time before anybody goes through a gate.
- Coach drop, not guest parking. The designated bus area is closer than the structure. It saves the walk twice.
- Plan the return to the bell. School trips work backward from the return bell, not from park closing.
- Peak season access. Spring break and summer change the approach timings substantially. We plan on those figures in season.

Reach us however you like. A person who actually knows the routes answers, not a call center reading from a script.
May reward trips book earlier than anything else we run. Spring break and summer are the other pinch points.
Getting a group to Islands of Adventure
Can our group split between both parks?
Most do. We set one pickup point and one return time covering the whole resort, which avoids the usual end-of-day problem of half the group coming out of a different gate.
Do you handle school groups here?
Regularly, and it is our biggest segment for this park. Certificates of insurance, driver clearance, and the per-student cost breakdown go out with the quote.
Where does the coach park?
In the designated bus area rather than the guest structure, which is both closer and quicker to leave from. We confirm the current arrangement when you book.
How early should a school trip book?
Spring reward trips are the earliest bookings in our calendar, because every school in the region wants the same fortnight in May. Book as soon as the date is approved.
Are you affiliated with the park?
No. We are an independent charter operator providing transportation to the area, with no affiliation with the park or its operator, and we do not sell admission.
Causeway Coach is an independent transportation provider. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or an official transportation provider for any venue, park, speedway, or attraction named on this page.
