Fleet / Mid-size coach

Mid-size coach, 25 to 35 passengers

The one people forget exists, and often the right answer. Coach comfort and luggage space in a vehicle that fits places a 45-foot motorcoach genuinely cannot.

The vehicle

25 to 35 passengers

Groups tend to jump straight from a van to a 56-passenger motorcoach, which leaves the mid-size coach doing quiet, useful work in between. Twenty-five to thirty-five seats, luggage space underneath, and a footprint that gets into hotel entrances, older downtowns, and resort properties where a full-size coach has to stage down the block.

It suits the group that is genuinely mid-sized. A wedding party rather than the whole guest list. A department offsite rather than the company. A travel-ball squad rather than a varsity program. Paying to move a half-empty 56-seat coach around is a common and avoidable waste.

It is also the vehicle we reach for when the constraint is the destination rather than the headcount. Sanibel and Captiva, Key West’s older streets, historic downtowns, and a lot of Florida’s prettiest wedding venues were not designed with 45-foot vehicles in mind.

On board

  • Climate control
  • Monitors and PA system
  • Luggage space
  • Comfortable forward-facing seating
  • Easier access into tight venues

Luggage

Dedicated luggage space, less than a full-size motorcoach but far more than any van. Enough for an airport run or a multi-day trip for the group it seats.

Where it fits

What this one is for

Mid-sized wedding groups

Wedding parties and smaller guest counts, especially at venues with a difficult approach.

Corporate offsites

A department rather than a company. Board retreats, client outings, and executive transfers.

Travel-ball and club teams

Squads that would rattle around in a full-size coach but will not fit a minibus.

Island and historic venues

Places where a 45-foot coach simply cannot get to the door.

When it is the wrong vehicle

You are over about thirty-five people, or you need an onboard restroom for a long cross-Florida run. Both point to the full-size motorcoach.

Talk to a real dispatcher

Ready to price a 25 to 35 passenger coach?

Reach us however you like. A person who actually knows the routes answers, not a call center reading from a script.

Full-size coaches go first in peak season, roughly February through April, and Saturdays go first within that. If your date is fixed, lock the vehicle early.

  1. You send the basics. Date, pickup, destination, headcount. That is enough to price it.
  2. We send one all-in number. Bus, driver, and fuel together, with tolls and parking itemized.
  3. You approve, we hold the coach. Paperwork and certificates follow for schools and vendors.
Vehicle questions

About the mid-size coach

When is a mid-size coach better than a full-size one?

When your headcount is genuinely under thirty-five, or when the venue cannot take a 45-foot vehicle. Island resorts, historic downtowns, and hotels with a low porte-cochere are the usual cases. It is not a downgrade, it is a fit.

Does it have a restroom?

Generally not. For runs over about two hours where a comfort stop would be disruptive, the full-size motorcoach is the better call. For shorter transfers it is rarely an issue.

Is it cheaper than a 56-passenger coach?

Per trip, usually yes. Per seat, only if you are actually filling it. If your group is close to fifty, one full-size coach beats two mid-size ones on both cost and coordination.

Can it handle luggage for an airport transfer?

Comfortably, for the group it seats. Tell us it is an airport run when you book so we assign a vehicle with the bay configuration for it.

Not sure which size you need?

Send us the headcount, the luggage situation, and where you are going. We will tell you which vehicle actually fits, including when the cheaper one is the right answer.
