Minibus rental in Jacksonville
Riverside and San Marco have the venues and none of the kerb space. Vehicle size decides whether your group loads at the door.

Minibus rental in Jacksonville
Jacksonville has the space for large vehicles almost everywhere except the districts where groups actually want to go. Riverside, Avondale, San Marco, and the beach towns have the restaurants and event venues, and they also have narrow historic streets, mature tree canopy, and limited kerb. A 15 to 28 passenger minibus works in all of them; a 55-foot coach frequently has to stage on a main road and let the group walk.
The size also fits the majority of Jacksonville group work. Corporate teams, wedding parties moving between downtown hotels and a beach venue, small athletics squads, and church outings are twenty-something-person jobs. Given how far apart Jacksonville addresses are, the saving that matters is not the seat count anyway, it is not paying for a vehicle larger than the group.
The exception is distance combined with luggage. A cruise transfer to the terminal north of the river, or a run up to Amelia Island with bags, is more comfortable on a coach with under-floor bays. In a city this spread out, an hour on the road with suitcases on seats is a long hour.
Jacksonville districts a minibus reaches easily
Causeway Coach is an independent transportation provider. The local constraints we plan around
Historic district access
Riverside, Avondale and San Marco have the venues and the least room to stage. A minibus reaches the door rather than the nearest arterial.
Beach town streets
Jacksonville Beach, Neptune and Atlantic Beach are compact grids with limited parking. Smaller vehicles simply work better there.
Distances are still long
A smaller bus does not shrink the city. Cross-town pickups still need sequencing and the bridge still needs choosing in advance.
Size up for luggage
Cruise runs to the terminal north of the river want under-floor bays. On a trip that long, luggage on seats is not a small compromise.

Minibus rental in Jacksonville
How many passengers fit on a minibus?
About 15 to 28 depending on the vehicle. Past that, one mid-size coach is normally cheaper and simpler than two minibuses, and we will recommend it.
Why choose a minibus in Jacksonville?
Because of where you are going rather than how far. Riverside, San Marco, Avondale and the beach towns have restricted kerb space and narrow streets, and a minibus reaches those venues directly instead of dropping the group on a main road.
Can a minibus do a JAXPORT cruise transfer?
Only for a group travelling light. A standard cruise group with a suitcase each needs under-floor bays, and given the distance to the terminal we would rather put you on a coach than have luggage riding on seats for the whole trip.
Do you cover the beaches and Ponte Vedra?
Yes, along with Amelia Island and Orange Park. Those runs are long, so tell us the full itinerary rather than only the destination and we will size and schedule against the actual driver hours.
Is a driver included in the price?
Yes. We are a charter operator rather than a self-drive rental company, and the flat quote covers vehicle, driver, gratuity and fuel.
Planning something in Jacksonville?
Send the date, the headcount, and the venue. We will come back with one flat number and the right vehicle for the access.
